Mother of the Americas

This is a beautiful new novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe. It is crafted by William G. Storey, professor emeritus of Notre Dame University, and includes an introduction by Virgilio Elizondo that tells of Our Lady's appearance to Saint Juan Diego and relates this devotion to European Marian traditions. Rich in scripture and graced with traditional and contemporary reflections on Mary, it can be used any time of year, as the nine days focus on different events in Mary's life. The novena prayer views all of those moments through the lens of the Guadalupe event.
