From different but complementary perspectives, the authors provide a thorough and insightful examination of the pneumatological and soteriological dimension of mission, drawing attention to the theological rationale that should guide the pastoral ministry and the overall missionary endeavour of Christians. Hadjadj and Bueno de la Fuente’s works greatly contribute to meet the need for a renewed understanding of what mission is about, which is among the main reasons underlying Pope Francis’s magisterial and hortatory insistence in addressing missionary subjects.
